Virtue Diagnostics Group establishes Southeast Asia's largest
IVD Manufacturer in Indonesia

Virtue Diagnostics Indonesia is proud to inaugurate the IVD factory in Indonesia, on an area of 12,200 m2 in Cikarang, West Java with a building area of 8900 m2. The site, located in Cikarang, Indonesia, is part of the global strategy to strengthen the production and distribution of VIRTUEDX products into Southeast Asia IVD markets. With this manufacturing site in Indonesia, Virtue Diagnostics can meet domestic and global requirement for quality and affordable IVD products.

Featured product from Virtue Diagnostics Indonesia includes chemiluminescence immunoassays (CLIA) analyzer and reagent, the first of such products produced in Indonesia. VIRTUEDX Group has R&D centers and manufacturing sites in China, Singapore, Brazil and Indonesia. Currently, Virtue Diagnostics Indonesia has more than 60 experienced experts to support research, development and production of IVD products. This facility is capable of producing >1000 units of instruments per year and >6000 liters of reagents per day and the production capacity can be increased according to market demand. The planned production capacity within the next 1-2 years is able to meet the national demand for Immunology, Hematology and Clinical Chemistry reagents.

VIRTUEDX products have also been clinically tested and evaluated by leading hospitals, such as The University of Indonesia Hospital (RSUI), RSUPN Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo (RSCM), and UGM Yogyakarta Academic Hospital (RSA UGM).

4 product groups will be launched this year in the domestic market, including Immunology, Hematology, Clinical Chemistry and Molecular products with the VERCENTRA brand for instruments and VIRTUEDX brand for reagents.

Virtue Diagnostics Indonesia has received a Medical Device Industry standard certificate and Certificate for Good Manufacturing Practices for Medical Devices (CPAKB) in December 2023.

Virtue Diagnostics Indonesia is inaugurated by the Indonesian Minister of Health, Ir. Budi Gunadi Sadikin, Bey Triadi Machmudin, S.E., M.T and attended by 70 invitees from various directorates in the Ministry of Health, BPKM, PDS Patklin, Gakeslab, hospitals and clinical laboratories.

Striving towards the independence of the national IVD industry, VIRTUE Diagnostics Indonesia is determined to support the government to improve manufacturing competency and to produce high quality products so that Virtue Diagnostics Indonesia can become a manufacturing partner to serve the domestic and regional needs of Southeast Asia.
