Virtue Diagnostics Announced Acquisition of
Labtest Diagnostics in Brazil

On September 1, 2022, Virtue Diagnostics Co., Ltd. officially announced its acquisition of Labtest Diagnostics(Labtest Diagnostica), a Brazilian IVD company. This move represented a significant expansion of the company’s market presence in Brazil and throughout Latin America. Founded in 1971, Labtest is one of Brazil’s largest in-vitro diagnostic companies, renowned for its mature portfolio of biochemistry, hematology, and POCT analyzers.

On September 5, 2022, representatives from both companies gathered at Labtest’s headquarters to celebrate this historic moment. Mr. Zhang Sheng, Global CEO, and Founder of Virtue Diagnostics, stated, “Virtue Diagnostics is a young company dedicated to providing innovative in-vitro diagnostic products and services in global markets. Our mission in international markets is to offer a comprehensive portfolio of IVD products to emerging countries, positioning ourselves as a leading diagnostic technology company in key emerging markets. The merger of our two companies represents a crucial step in our international expansion. Not only do we gain access to Labtest’s well-established biochemistry and immunoassay pipelines, but we also plan to introduce Virtue Diagnostics’ chemiluminesence Immunoassay analyzer to Labtest Diagnostics, meeting emerging demands for automation, high sensitivity,  high-quality control,and POCT analyzer in Latin America and other selected markets.
